Obushera
Description
Obushera is a traditional Ugandan fermented cereal beverage consumed as a refreshing drink and for social occasions.
Fermentation process
- Cereal flour mixed with water and cooked
- Slurry cooled and fermented spontaneously
- Fermentation lasts 1–3 days depending on preference
