Ting
Description
Ting is a fermented sorghum porridge widely consumed in Southern Africa, particularly as a breakfast and weaning food.
Fermentation process
- Sorghum flour mixed with water
- Slurry fermented spontaneously for 24–48 h
- Fermented mixture cooked into a thick porridge
